Today in Sunday School we read one of my favorite scriptures, D&C 109:8
"Organize yourselves; prepare every needful thing, and establish a house, even a house of prayer, a house of fasting, a house of faith, a house of learning, a house of glory, a house of order, a house of God;"
I love this scripture. I need it ingrained in my head. I need to work harder on making my home a spiritual one. Ryan and I are considering getting rid of cable, because we watch TV entirely too much! I need to organize myself and get my act together in a lot of ways. This scripture is such an inspiration to me today.

We've never had cable. It's nice with kids because we can choose which DVDs they can watch. It definitely helps ME keep the TV off, too!
I love this scripture, too! It's a great list of what to work on in our homes. I didn't realize it was in D&C 109, too. I thought it was only in D&C 88! It's definitely important if it's in there twice, word for word!!
I agree, it is definitely a good guide. I have it taped to my bathroom mirror. :) Thanks for the reminder.
